Assembling Cables with Compression BNC Plugs

    1.  Strip the coaxial cable as shown below.

    2.  Slip the parts onto the coaxial cable in the order shown.

    3.  Position the tapered washer so it butts against the outer insulation of the coaxial cable.
    4.  Twist the strands of the coax shield together and fold it around the tapered washer.
    5.  Crimp and/or solder the pin to the center conductor.
    6.  Screw the threaded fastener firmly into the main BNC shell (not shown) to complete the assembly.
